On that day, the sun suddenly disappeared, the moon and stars following suit, a thick blanket of darkness cast over the planet. Humanity came face to face with its apocalypse, until something appeared, a gigantic bird, on its head a young man, injured, broken, his hair whipping in the wind. But he was still standing, not as humanity's savior or something special like that, but just a human, looking for something to take out his anger on. In his hand was a broken katana. The Katana which started everything, giving him power and pain in equal amounts. Axel hadn't really asked for this, all he wanted was a simple anime prop, a katana, but due to that order, he became a wielder, getting involved in a world of anima wielders - people with supernatural abilities. Soon he finds himself facing off against twisted abominations, wielders who are after the katana, forced into a battle for survival, while struggling to comprehend the powers awakening within him. And finally, the worst happened, something terrible arrived from the vastness of space, and to top it off, they're here for him…
