Wizard: Building a Golem Legion From Zero

Chapter 589 - 573: Allen’s Star Domain Hegemony Plan

Chapter 589: Chapter 573: Allen’s Star Domain Hegemony Plan

A gentle breeze swept across Star Gate Square on the outskirts of Mage City. Colin raised his foot and stomped hard on the grayish-white hardened ground, then looked up, his gaze sweeping past the endless, massive storage areas toward the distance.

Over a hundred ten-meter-tall Engineering Golems marched with heavy steps, transferring the cargo crates brought by Wesren Heavy Industry onto the Magic Energy Train. The train let out a deafening roar, speeding into the distance along a steel web of tracks. The sky was partitioned by towering Magic Furnaces, while deep blue energy veins throbbed and intertwined across the earth like blood vessels.

"Boss." Colin swallowed hard and turned to Allen. "You mentioned in the cross-plane comms that you bought a primitive Plane. I thought we were coming here to clear wastelands and pull weeds. This... you call this primitive?"

"It certainly was three years ago." Allen patted Colin on the shoulder. "I dumped four billion Low-Level Magic Stones into it, forcibly accelerating its civilization’s progress. Now, it’s our backyard."

Vera stood nearby, her gaze sweeping over the native laborers changing shifts in the distance. Dressed in uniform gray work clothes, they formed neat queues and passed through the turnstiles in an orderly manner under the scanning of their personal terminals. There was no noise, no chaos; they looked incredibly dedicated.

"The infrastructure is complete, and the labor force is highly integrated," Vera deduced quickly, grasping the whole picture from this single glimpse. "Allen, although the foundation here was thin, you’ve completely remodeled its social structure. Without the vested interests of any old factions, this is a perfect blank slate. As your first private Plane, it can absolutely be built into the ultimate rear base for Wesren Heavy Industry. It’s a pity Lina has to hold down the fort at headquarters, otherwise she would definitely want to carefully study the ocean of the subconscious here."

"That’s exactly why I called you all here." Allen turned and walked toward the Odyssey parked at the edge of the square. "Let’s go. We’ll talk in Cybertron."

Half an hour later, Colin, Vera, and twelve core executives of Wesren Heavy Industry took their seats in the conference room of Cybertron’s reception area. The "Reliable Messenger" smart bracelets on everyone’s wrists were flashing, indicating they were connecting to a brand-new local network.

"The Wesren internal network has completed its connection with the local ’Grand Governor’ system. Everyone, welcome to the Divine Kingdom of Ten Thousand Machines," Jarvis announced, welcoming them on Allen’s behalf.

"Since everyone is here, let’s get down to business." Sitting at the head of the table, Allen tapped his fingertip lightly against the surface. A virtual sandbox instantly expanded, displaying the data of the entire G-771 Plane to the crowd without any reservations.

"A population of 695 million, 3,200 high-quality mineral veins, including a medium-sized Silver Ore mine and a large-scale Magic Stone mine—enough for two hundred years of extraction. There are five main heavy-haul railway lines and thirty-eight branch lines."

Allen’s deep blue eyes swept across both sides of the long table, his tone carrying an absolute sense of control. "These are the foundations I laid down over several years, at a cost of four billion Magic Stones. The infrastructure is already complete, and the social order has been completely reconstructed.

"I didn’t call you here for a sightseeing tour. From today onward, Wesren Heavy Industry will officially take over the economic lifeline and consumer goods of G-771. In this Plane, there is no parliament and there are no competitors. You are the sole super megacorporation."

All the executives present straightened their backs, an unconcealable ambition igniting in their eyes.

"Next, three tasks," Allen immediately began assigning objectives. "First, establish the Wesren Heavy Industry G-771 branch. Build factories locally, source materials locally, and produce locally. The first-phase mineral production data for this Plane has already been sent to you. I’ve requisitioned a portion of it for Plane construction and personal use, and allocated some for trade liquidation. You can freely distribute the remaining quota."

He pointed to several blank areas on the sandbox. "The industrial zones have already been mapped out. Raw materials will be supplied directly, without any middlemen taking a cut. I want you to build ten large-scale Golem Manufacturing plants within three months. The low-end and mid-range Golems produced here will be used to enhance Wesren Heavy Industry’s supply capacity."

Colin rapidly built a profit model on his terminal, his fingertips tapping the screen at an increasing pace. "Understood. Stripping away logistics and tariffs, our manufacturing costs can be suppressed by another ten percent. The Hub City market is nearing saturation, and we haven’t been able to break into the high-end Golem market. Our revenue hasn’t seen substantial growth in years. So, the branch’s mission is to open up new markets here."

Allen gave a slight nod, and the Star Map switched accordingly, revealing the Gray Channel and the thirteen inhabited Planes surrounding it.

"So, the second task is to form a Floating Ship Merchant Team and open up the trade routes leading to Hub City and these thirteen Planes as quickly as possible. High-value precision components and Golems will still go through the Star Gate. Low-value-added heavy Golems and industrial products will take the Gray Channel."

"Boss," an executive in charge of logistics couldn’t help but remind him. "Black Wizards run rampant in the latter half of the Gray Channel, and Star Thieves are widespread. The escort costs for a merchant fleet will be astronomical. This expense..."

"I will handle the firepower issue." Allen had long considered this problem. "The Ten Thousand Miles of Sunshine will temporarily serve as the escort flagship. At the same time, ten of my Golem Legions will be mobilized to form an escort legion alongside the commercial Floating Ships you purchase."

He sneered. "If we encounter unreasonable Star Thieves, we’ll reason with them using our naval guns. Once I recoup some capital, I will personally oversee the construction of several dedicated spatial warships for your use."

He turned to look at Vera.

"Risk is proportional to reward. A massive price scissors effect exists between the core regions and the peripheral Planes," Allen said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Use our first-mover advantage and logistical cost differentials to strike at the local peripheral chambers of commerce. Siphon the raw materials from those thirteen Planes, and then dump our industrial products onto them. Within fifty years, I want Wesren Heavy Industry to build up this trade route and the surrounding Star Domain by relying on the G-771 Plane."

Vera quickly took notes on her data pad, her eyes sharp. "I will immediately mobilize the Wizards from the security department, and concurrently hire a batch of Second-level Wizards at a high salary to assist in assembling the fleet’s armed forces. Within three months, we will have the first route operational."

"Excellent. The third task." Allen slid his finger, and surveillance footage of a native night school appeared on the holographic screen. In the footage, native teenagers were grinding away at basic academic subjects under dim lighting.

"The education division will move in entirely." Looking at the youth on the screen, Allen spoke in an unquestionable tone. "Roll out New West’s Educational Golems, foundational textbooks, and the smart office ecosystem you’re currently using across the board."

Vera instinctively sat up straighter; this was the original trade that Wesren Heavy Industry had built its foundation on.

"I have already enforced compulsory basic education, but it’s not enough," Allen said. "First, enhance the level of general education. In ten years, I want to build a Wizard School here."

"You want to cultivate native Casters?" Vera frowned slightly. "Won’t this trigger a backlash? After all, once Extraordinary Power becomes widespread..."

"As long as I am still breathing, no one will be able to cause a backlash," Allen interrupted her. "Opening up high-end extraordinary paths is a necessity. Whoever controls the education system holds a monopoly on the future of this Star Domain. Of course, we will also establish a Wizard Vocational Technical College."

Allen said meaningfully, "We must also give those commoners with poor aptitude a chance to learn. Teach them how to carve Runes, how to maintain Magic Furnaces, and how to assemble Golem joints. Break down lofty Magic into standardized assembly line work. They don’t need to understand the truth; they just need to become skilled Casting Tool Persons."

Vera’s eyes lit up, finally grasping Allen’s strategic intent completely. "Mass-producing low-level Alchemy Engineers! This way, Wesren Heavy Industry will possess the largest and cheapest technical team in this Star Domain. We’ll be able to take on large-scale commercial projects in any Plane!"

"Exactly."

Allen’s deep voice echoed through the spacious conference hall, drawing the meeting to a close. He slowly stood up, his gaze like a torch as it swept over the various expressions on the faces around the round table.

"Witchcraft should never have been a privilege monopolized by a minority of so-called ’geniuses’; nor should the ultimate goal of education always point only toward those illusory, unattainable truths. What we want is foundational power capable of changing the world.

"Just imagine the scene—when hundreds of thousands of native engineering Wizards, having undergone standardized and systematic training, flood the market, turning that lofty Witchcraft into assembly-line work...

"I want to let those traditional White Wizards, who are still stuck in their ways and charging by the hourglass, see with their own eyes what a true ’talent dividend’ looks like!"

With the grand tasks issued, the entire conference room boiled over with excitement.

The executives quickly broke into groups, the notification sounds of data exchanges ringing out one after another. Nourished by the rich nutrients of the G-771 Plane, this massive and greedy commercial machine known as Wesren Heavy Industry finally bared its fangs, preparing to launch a frenzied expansion that would sweep across the Star Domain.
