"Impossible…" Malzor Hexadra uttered with a dumbfounded look on his face.

He had met with Venerable Knight Damien before.

His body was like an endless ocean that one wouldn't be able to see where the land, or in this case, the soul, was at properly. To kill him would've been a task nearly impossible to undertake in the Upper Realm Space. He had even speculated which Venerable Knight would be the toughest to kill, and Venerable Knight Damien took the first spot for him because of the Ocean Autarch Body, while he pushed away Venerable Knight Alric, who possessed the Golden Vajra Peak Body.

The latter was publicly acknowledged as the most difficult to kill.

However, as a Water Law and Darkness Law cultivator who possessed the bloodline of an Emperor-Tier Six-Headed Hydra, he was well aware of how dangerous the density and the endless nature of the ocean could be.

No matter how many attacks he could land on the Oceanic Autarch Body, it would all get absorbed into an endless vortex. The soul couldn't be reached. The body protected the soul through the vast ocean of water energy that was close to heavenly water energy, in addition to self-healing properties.

Yet, the First Dark Apostle, the Apostle of Nullification, managed to kill Venerable Knight Damien.

The Celestial Transcendent let them digest this information.

Some might've already heard about the fall of Venerable Knight Damien, but to end him was another matter altogether. It was not only the Divergents or evil cultivators who possessed escape methods. Yet, Venerable Knight Damien still couldn't escape. His avatar also didn't survive after being struck by a powerful karmic attack.

"Supreme Ruler of our galaxy, what's going on truly with the Divine Emperor of Death? Why are the other Divergents helping him to this degree?" White Flash Fairy was the first one to speak out.

As the Thundering Serenity Upper Realm's ruler, she more or less had a friendly relationship with the Heaven's Warrior and, by virtue, also the Greater Realm's ruler, who had praised them for hunting Divergents time and time again. She had spoken to the Celestial Transcendent on various occasions, unlike most Realm Masters.

If we go by the number we've seen in the Divine Emperor of Death's Immortal Emperor Tribulation, there are as many as nine disciples with extraordinary abilities and powerful cultivation. One of them is even an Omega Exalt, and the rest could be no less powerful than an Alpha Exalt. The same could be said about the Heavenly Blight Hall."

The Realm Masters felt shaken. This was going to cost heavily for the Upper Realms even if they succeeded in the end. Whether they could escape from the battles affecting their realms or not would shape the future of their own diplomatic relations. In this era, even an Upper Realm could fall if they were not careful.

And it had to be known that not a single Upper Realm had fallen ever since the galaxy had been completely conquered.

"I have a few avatars covering the Upper Realm Space. One of them got blocked by the Heavenly Blight Hall's leader, and the rest couldn't make it in time. Even if they did, not every avatar is powerful enough to deal with the new threats. It would not have changed the fact that the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm failed to seize and seal the Divine Emperor of Death despite their Realm Master acting."

Malzor Hexadra directly knelt, "I'm ashamed."

He perspired heavily, feeling the heavy gaze landing on him.

"I'm not blaming you. But I am telling you to widen the search. The Divine Emperor of Death could've acted like he had left, but could still be in your realm. At the same time, enforce a wider search net in the northeast and southeast parts of the Upper Realm Space and extend the search to all celestial bodies nearby. Find hidden ones that have never been recorded in the official maps before. I suspect they have set their base in one of those undiscovered celestial bodies."

The Realm Masters situated on the northeast and southeast sides of the Upper Realm Space all responded.

They consisted of the Forgeheart Peak Upper Realm, Emperor Cobra Upper Realm, Sacred Tiger Upper Realm, Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm, Beast Autarch Upper Realm, and the Saffron Harmony Upper Realm.

The rest of the Realm Masters couldn't help but sigh in relief secretly.

The damned Divine Emperor of Death didn't appear anywhere near their realms. He had just entered the Upper Realms, but his backing had already reached the layer limit. In that case, they knew it would be very difficult to seal him. If they tried to track him down, they didn't know how he would retaliate.

"Celestial Transcendent, should we completely eliminate his family if we find the Divine Emperor of Death's base?" asked the White Flash Fairy.

The Celestial Transcendent paused before answering, "Only the Divergents. Remember, the rest should only be punished by the Common Laws of the galaxy."

"Understood." She nodded.

The Common Laws of the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy were charted when the galaxy was conquered. It was a set of common rules that had not really enforced since they were just guidelines for the myriad of realms to adopt and suit to their needs and culture. However, it carried a clause stating that those who aided Divergents are punishable by certain sentences such as carrying shame through branded marks, being imprisoned, beheading, and many more depending on the severity of their crimes.

"What about that apocalyptic spirit? We fear that it could cause irreversible damage to the Upper Realm Cores…"

The Skyflame Surge Matriarch, Velantra Skytune, asked in a worried voice. She was none other than the ruler of the Seven-Colored Phoenix Upper Realm.

"That little spirit should be eliminated before it can completely grow. Even the Divine Emperor of Death might not be able to stop it if it devoured the Upper Realms and became so powerful that it exceeded his control. Such an uncontrollable factor can't be allowed to roam free."

"Give everything you got. Find them before it's too late. My subordinates will deliver the information on every Divergent, active or inactive, to your realms, and I will do my best to return soon to personally deal with the emerging threats of the Divergent Alliance. In the meantime, the Mystic Diviners will help you calculate their general location to the best of their ability, but don't count on it since the other party also has a talented Karmic Guardian."

"Understood!" The Realm Masters cupped their hands.

The Celestial Transcendent didn't stay for long. He gave a few more sets of instructions before leaving the Realm Masters to their devices.

They could only stare at each other.

For most, they had never seen the altar above them light up in their lifetimes. Even for the so-called First Haven World Master, the Celestial Transcendent hadn't intruded on their summit. That conveyed the severity of the issue.
